Business Alliance Supports WMMS - The WMMS Business Alliance held their Annual Basketball Blowout - Family Fun Night on January 25 at the home basketball game against Wakefield. The concession stand, run by Business Alliance members, served Chick-fil-A dinners as well as concession candies and drinks. The Kona Ice Cart served delicious icy desserts. The Chick - Fil - A Cow, the SECU Fat Cat, the Kona Penguin, and Wiley, the West Millbrook Wildcat were there to entertain everyone! Everyone who bought a Chick-fil-A sandwich got a coupon for free milkshakes. Those who bought Kona Ice Cups or Chick-fil-A sandwiches also received a door prize ticket. Among the great prizes were 52 Chick-fil-A Breakfast Biscuits, two free Healthtrax gym memberships for a month, a Health Trax gym bag, Health Trax water bottle, WMMS hoodies, and a Carolina Hurricanes Jersey. To top off the fun, Rockit Learning Science Camp gave away a free week of Science and Technology Camp this summer to one of our lucky students! Tee shirts, given by Kona Ice, Rockit Learning, Health Trax, and the WMMS PTA, were tossed to the crowd. Over $450 was raised by the Business Alliance to benefit WMMS literacy projects. We thank all of the members of our Business Alliance! To learn more about the Alliance, go to WMMS.net and click on Business Alliance.

school/district has selected the Student Insurance
Plan from K&K Insurance Group to make reliable coverage
available to parents. If you don't have other insurance,

even if you have other coverage, this plan can help fill
expensive "gaps" caused by deductible and
co-pays. Coverage may be purchased at any time during
the school
