The Book Fair is Coming! October 5-9
Open Monday - Friday, 7:45 am-3:30pm
Friday night, 6-8 pm, during the Fall Frenzy.
Students will visit the book fair and create wish lists of books that interest them. Parents, you can send money in with your student to purchase books or join us on Family Night during Fall Frenzy and shop together. All proceeds support the WMMS media center and classroom libraries. Students should get a pass from their teacher to shop after school.
- 8th grade visits during ELA on on Monday, 10/5
- 7th grade visits during ELA on Tuesday, 10/7
- 6th grade visits during ELA on Wednesday
The “All for Books” coin collection is Sept. 28 - Oct. 2 during lunch!
"Vote" for your favorite university with your change.
Who will win? ASU, Duke, ECU, NCSU, UNC?
Look for change in your couch, car and coin jar. Donations support the “All for Books” program, which provides financial help to ensure all WMMS students are able to get a book during the fair.
If we hit our $400 goal, teachers representing the losing schools will have to dress in the winning school’s colors on Fall Frenzy Friday.

Family Night is October 9th, 5:30 - 8:15 PM during Fall Frenzy
Come to Fall Frenzy and stop by the media center to shop the book fair! Buy a book from the teacher wish board and donate it to your student’s classroom.
VOLUNTEERS! We can’t do it without you! Please sign up for a book fair shift or two. You can help students find books, run a cash register or help with Family Night. You will receive $5 in Scholastic Bucks (to be spent at the book fair), if you work two shifts.
