The National Junior Beta Club is an academic honor organization that recognizes outstanding scholastic achievement, promotes strong moral character and social responsibility, encourages service to others, fosters leadership skills, and provides settings for students to develop strong interpersonal skills.
Seventh and eighth grade students with a GPA of at least 3.5 on their FINAL grades for last school year are eligible to apply for membership. One component of the application process includes two teacher recommendations attesting to moral integrity, service orientation, industrious attitude, and leadership potential. the student must also complete another component of the application which includes contact information, activities and awards, etc. Applications for the membership in the 2016-17 school year will be accepted until 8:05 a.m. on September 20. . Students who miss the deadline are invited to apply next year if still registered at WMMS.
Informational meetings were held on September 7 & 8, 2016. If you are interested in the Beta Club, but were unable to attend an interest meeting, please contact Mrs. Walters no later than September 18. All applications are due on September 20.

Battle of the Books is open to all students who enjoy reading and LOVE competition. This year, we will have three grade-level teams that meet once or twice a month to discuss books and develop quiz-bowl-like questions to help us prepare for the district competition in February. (Club Webpage here)

The Builder's Club is an international organization for middle school students with the goal of building character and developing leadership through service activities.

Junior PBIS is a student organization that supports the goals of West Millbrook's Positive Behavior Support Program. These students take leadership roles in encouging a positive, inclusive, environment for all members of our school community, and plan activities throughout the year to keep positive behavior and a safe, positive environment at the forefront of our thinking.

The West Millbrook Middle School Student Council is consists of members and officers chosen by the student body.Throughout the school year, the Student Council, working with the advisors, sponsors a variety school dances and other activities in which all students can participate.

The West Millbrook Yearbook, is published each year by a team of students along with a faculty advisor. This publication requires determination to meet deadlines, along with a desire to improve photography skills.
