Administrator and Proctor Training
At the faculty meeting on May 5, test administrators will recieve the testing manuals. Part A of training is independent study. Between today and May 14th, it is your responsiblity to read the entire manual, write questions in the margin, highlight the correct say statements. You will be held accountable for anything in that manual.
When you come to training on the 14th or 15th (Part B pf training), Mrs. Cole will answer questions from the manual and go over procedures unique to WMMS. SHE WILL NOT go over the manual page by page. You are professionals and can read and comprehend, but Mrs.Cole suggests you NOT wait until the day of Part B training.
Remember to ask questions before the first day of testing. On the mornings of testing, Mrs. Cole will be too busy checking materials out to be answering questions.Schedule for Training:
May 14 (We will be on a one hour delay schedule this day, so all training will be immediately at the start of each planning period. If you are more than 10 minutes late, you will need to attend another training.)

Grade Level Testing Schedule
Because of the following from DPI:
- Testing reading comprehension and mathematics must occur on consecutive days.
- For end-of-grade mathematics tests at grades 3–7, the calculator active part of the test must be administered before the calculator inactive part of the test.
- Turn in day, Fri., May 22
andthe school only has enough calculators for one grade level at a time. The following schedule will be in place: Prepare your students and parents!
Fri. 5/16 ...........Mon.5/19 ........... Tues.5/20 ............. Wed.5/21
6th Survey ........Math ........... .......Math cal inactive ... Reading
7th Survey .......Reading ........... ....Math ........... ....... Math cal inactive
8th Survey .......Science ........... ....Reading ........... ...Math
Thurs., May 22 is bubble party during grade level planning.
Movement Schedule for Test Days
After reading your feedback on the extended time issue, I would like to propose the following: The whole campus stay in place until 11:15. HR's will stay in testing mode until all those in the HR are finished. If all in a HR finish before 11:15, students can read or talk QUIETLY, until 11:15, but stay put. Then, anyone needing more time after 11:15, SPED and ESL inscluded, will be sent to media center.- This allows for roughly 2 hrs. and 45 minutes of testing in HRs which will, hopefully, reduce the number of regular ed students still wanting more time.
- Lunches can then start at 11:20. Administration will need to work out lunch scheduling.
Retest and Make-up Week
Regarding the retest schedule: No Reading retest
All retesting will take place in science rooms. Teams can decide who the Test Administrators will be. It can be a different teacher each day. Let me know who on what day.
