Edmodo provides a safe and easy way for your class to connect and collaborate, share content, and access homework, grades and school notices.
Edublogs - A blog is a website and a log infused together. Weblogs or blogs are usually maintained by an individual to record thoughts, reflections, opinions and more.
NBC Learn (6-12) - You need to register from a computer within the WCPSS network. If you log-in from outside the WCPSS network, you will be redirected to an archive NBCLearn site. Username: WCPSS e-mail address; Password: wakecounty
NC Wiseowl -- Subscription periodicals, encyclopedias, and other resources. See the media specialist for log-in info.
NC WiseOwl has been providing online subscription resources for our schools since 1999. Their mission is to ensure that all NC public and charter school students have access to a collection of online resources for use in research projects and homework assignments, without regard to the economic status of their local school system. NC WiseOwl has three major strengths as an educational resource: quality, economy, and safety.

VoiceThread Login -- VoiceThread is a cloud application, so there is no software to install. The only system requirement is an up-to-date version of Adobe Flash. VoiceThread will work in any modern web browser and on almost any internet connection. There is also a free VoiceThread App for your Apple or Android device (must configure the domain) Creating: Upload, share and discuss documents, presentations, images, audio files and videos. Over 50 different types of media can be used in a VoiceThread. Commenting: Comment on VoiceThread slides using one of five powerful commenting options: microphone, webcam, text, phone, and audio-file upload. Sharing: Keep a VoiceThread private, share it with specific people, or open it up to the entire world. Teacher username: wcpss+employee# (no leading zeros); Password: employee number with no leading zeros.
