Testing Information for Proctors

Thank you for volunteering to proctor during our end-of-year testing. Your service is invaluable to our school community. As you know, testing is mandated by our state and nation for accountability purposes. Our state requires that every testing setting has its own administrator and proctor. Typically, during our intense three days of testing, we need approximately 25 outside volunteers each day to meet the state mandate. We appreciate you!!!

On test day, please try to arrive at school around 7:50 so that you can find a parking place (either of our teacher lots), check in at the front office where you'll receive a visitor badge, and then go to the Media Center for a brief training session and proctor assignments. We will cover the two documents below. If you read the documents prior to arriving, the training will go quicker.

Around 8:10, we'll begin assigning proctors to various classrooms with the goal of everyone being in their assigned room no later than 8:25. Based on our experience Monday, proctors may be needed until a few minutes before noon.
