Club The National Junior Beta Club is an academic honor organization that recognizes outstanding scholastic achievement, promotes strong moral character and social responsibility, encourages service to others, fosters leadership skills, and provides settings for students to develop strong interpersonal skills. Seventh and eighth grade students with a GPA of at least 3.5 on last year's final report card are eligible to apply for membership. One component of the application process includes two teacher recommendations attesting to moral integrity, service orientation, industrious attitude, and leadership potential. the student must also complete another component of the application which includes contact information, activities and awards, etc. Applications for the membership in the 2007-08 school year will be accepted through 8:15 a.m., October 8. If you have questions, please contact Mrs. Walters, faculty advisor. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The West Millbrook Yearbook, The Zephyr, is published each year by a team of students along with a faculty advisor. This publication requires determination to meet deadlines, along with a desire to improving writing and photography skills. Students
