Planning for High School, College, and Career
Long before you ever enter the job market, you must begin planning for your first career. One of the first "official" steps that you'll take will be in March or April of your 8th grade spring semester. At that time, as you register for high school, you'll declare a North Carolina high school course of study which will guide your decisions related to high school courses and electives. In order to effectively choose your the path you will follow in high school, you need to already have goals for your future. This page will help you make future plans. Remember to aim high!
It is important to consider your personality traits, things you enjoy doing, and things you do well. These links will help you get started considering your future career possibilities.
