Step Three - Think of Other Costs:

  • Now that you have finished your grocery shopping, it is time to think of other costs of living.
  • With your computer buddy, make a list of other family expenses.
  • Eliminate any item from the list that is not a necessity of life, as in a telephone, cablevision, etc.
  • Once you have your list complete, show it to your teacher who will help you determine if you have listed all necessities.
  • Your teacher may point out some things that are not necessary, and will ask you to eliminate them. (Try to surprise your teacher by making a "perfect" list.)
